[origin: EP3360524A1] An assisting robot (1) that can suppress discomfort to a care receiver (M) during a standing-assistance operation is provided. A control device (80) for the assisting robot (1) executes a first operation that coordinates lowering of an elevator (30) and forward rotation of an arm (40) for at least a part of a period from when the care receiver (M) is in an initial sitting posture to an intermediate posture. The control device (80) executes a second operation that raises the elevator (30) during a period from time of the intermediate posture to time of a standing posture.
