A method for manufacturing a burner assembly for a gas turbine combustor, which is provided with a pilot burner (2) extending along a longitudinal axis (A) and a premix burner (3) surrounding the pilot burner (2), comprises the step of manufacturing at least one portion of the pilot burner (2) by means of an additive manufacturing technique; the step of manufacturing at least one portion of the pilot burner (2) comprises manufacturing at least one first thermal bridge (20; 20a, 20b, 20c) connecting parts (6, 7; 6, 8; 7, 10) of the pilot burner (2) having a temperature difference (”T) not greater than a threshold value.
