[origin: US2018233271A1] A transformer with integrated cooling is disclosed. The transformer comprises a primary winding and a secondary winding, and a coolant line partly or completely embedded in at least one of the primary or secondary windings. The coolant line is supplied with coolant from a supply device. The coolant line has a plurality of exit holes that are arranged to lead in a direction of at least one of the primary or secondary winding, so as to supply it with coolant.

Transformator (10) mit integrierter Kühlung, umfassend eine primar- und sekundärseitige Wicklung (16, 18) sowie eine in zumindest eine der beiden Wicklungen (16, 18) teilweise oder vollständig eingebettete Kühlmittelleitung (30, 32), die aus einer Versorgungseinrichtung (48) mit Kühlmittel speisbar ist. Hierbei weist die Kühlmittelleitung (30, 32) eine Vielzahl von Austrittsöffnungen (60, 62) auf, die in Richtung der zumindest einen Wicklung (16, 18) münden, um diese mit Kühlmittel zu beaufschlagen.
