[origin: WO2017063733A1] The present invention relates to a method for controlling a robot system, and in particular for orienting a robot system with respect to a reference body. The robot system in this case comprises a manipulator and a mobile platform that supports the manipulator. In this case, a reference position of the platform with respect to the reference body and a reference configuration of the manipulator are provided. Furthermore, the manipulator is coupled to the reference body and the robot system is actuated in the coupled state such that the reference configuration of the manipulator is taken up.
