[origin: US2018236636A1] A universal adapter includes a main tube for a combined suction unit and blasting unit. The main tube has a first connecting section for connection to a suction line of the suction unit and a second connecting section for connection to a working chamber. In order to reduce the number of suction adapters needed to connect to different openings in working chambers, the second connecting section is made of a flexible material and has a cutout in its periphery that extends from a free end of the second connecting section in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the main pipe.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Universaladapter mit einem Grundrohr für ein mit einem Granulat-Strahlgerät kombiniertes Sauggerät, wobei das Grundrohr einen ersten Verbindungsabschnitt zum Anschluss an eine Absaugleitung des Sauggeräts und einen zweiten Verbindungsabschnitt zum Anschluss an einen Arbeitsraum aufweist. Um die Anzahl der zum Anschluss an unterschiedliche Öffnungen von Arbeitsräumen notwendigen Saugadapter zu verringern, ist vorgesehen, dass der zweite Verbindungsabschnitt aus einem flexiblen Material gebildet ist und an seinem Umfang eine sich ausgehend von einem freien Ende des zweiten Verbindungsabschnitts in Längsachsenrichtung des Grundrohres erstreckende Aussparung aufweist.
