[origin: EP3364107A1] The invention relates to a thermostatic valve for controlling a gas stove, comprising an adjustment knob (30) rotatable between a completely off position, wherein the valve closes the passage of gas both to a main burner and to a pilot burner, a stand-by position, wherein the valve closes the passage of gas only to the main burner, and an adjustment position, wherein the valve allows the passage of gas both to the main burner and to the pilot burner. The thermostatic valve comprises a stop member (50) adapted to prevent a rotation of the adjustment knob from the stand-by position to the completely off position.
