The heating device includes at least one heating rod having a rectangular cross section of at least one majorside, and at least one electrical resistor passing through the heating rod. According to the invention: a main side surface of the heating rod has two longitudinally convex regions separated by a longitudinally recessed region; the convex regions and the recessed region extend over the length of the rod; the rod has longitudinal inner cavities corresponding to the convex regions; the electrical resistors are placed in the longitudinal inner cavities. The invention is applied to household heating equipment and in particular to the field of towel racks mounted on walls.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de chauffage électrique domestique et en particulier un sèche-serviettes. Le dispositif de chauffage comprend : - au moins un barreau chauffant de section oblongue présentant au moins une face principale, - au moins une résistance électrique parcourant le barreau chauffant, Conformément à l'invention : - la face principale du barreau chauffant présente deux zones convexes longitudinales séparées par une zone concave longitudinale, les zones convexes et la zone concave s'étendant le long du barreau, - le barreau présente respectivement des cavités longitudinales internes coïncidant avec les zones convexes, et recevant la résistance électrique. L'invention trouve des applications dans le domaine des équipements de chauffage domestiques et en particulier des sèche-serviettes muraux.
