The dryer screen is suitable for use in a dryer section of a paper machine with a determinedpaper side for abutting the paper web and a machine side facing away from the paper side, wherein the dryer screen is provided with a fabric formed by longitudinal yarns (2-7) and transverse yarns (10-21) or is formed by the fabric; the fabric includes at least two stacked layers of transverse yarns; the longitudinal yarns are bundled with the transverse yarns by means of the float stitches at the paper side and the machine side; and the float stitches are staggered at the paper side and the machine side, and the fabric has only longitudinal yarn float stitches at the paper side and the machine side, and the longitudinal yarn float stitches are respectively overlapped with at least two adjacent transverse yarns, and all the longitudinal yarn float stitches are overlapped with the same number of transverse yarns.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Trockensieb, geeignet zur Verwendung in der Trockenpartie einer Papiermaschine, mit einer für die Auflage einer Papierbahn bestimmten Papierseite und einer von der Papierseite abgewandten Maschinenseite, wobei das Trockensieb ein Gewebe aus Längs- (2-7) und Querfäden (10-21), welches mindestens zwei übereinanderliegende Querfadenlagen umfasst, hat oder daraus besteht, wobei die Längsfäden die Querfäden in papier- und maschinenseitigen Flottierungen, die sich an der Papier- und der Maschinenseite abwechseln, einbinden, und das Gewebe sowohl an der Papier- als auch an der Maschinenseite ausschließlich Längsfaden-Flottierungen aufweist, die jeweils mindestens zwei benachbarte Querfäden übergreifen, und alle Längsfaden-Flottierungen die gleiche Anzahl von Querfäden übergreifen.
