[origin: WO2017072260A1] The invention relates to a deflecting unit for guiding and deflecting the support means of an elevator system, containing a deflecting roller (11) and an axle (10) which is secured to a support (13) and on which the deflecting roller (11) is mounted in a freely rotatable manner. The axle (10) secured to a support (13) has an axle head (15) which is molded onto the axle and which axially secures the axle (10) on one side. In order to support the axle (10) so as to secure against rotation, a securing element (16) which is made of a quadrangular plate and which is screwed onto the support (13) is provided, said securing element being supported on an anti-rotation portion (21) arranged on the axle head (15). The securing element (16) has an inner annular fixing region (34) which is connected to the outer holding region (37) by radially running webs (35) designed as predetermined breaking points.
