[origin: WO2017077090A1] The present invention relates to a method for chemically converting carbonaceous material comprising at least the steps of: (a) gasifying said carbonaceous material in an entrained-flow or fluidized-bed reactor by means of which a synthesis gas is produced, (b) subjecting said synthesis gas to quenching by adding a quenching fluid thereto, (c) subjecting the quenched effluent to a purification treatment, (d) subjecting the purified effluent to a catalytic synthesis reaction using CO and H2 as reagents by means of which a gaseous effluent and a liquid effluent are obtained, all or a portion of the gaseous effluent obtained in step (d) being used in step (b) as a quenching fluid. The present invention also relates to a facility capable of being implemented during such a method.
