[origin: WO2017076569A1] A spinning preparation machine (10) is disclosed. Said spinning preparation machine has an operating section which comprises a feed section (12), which is configured for feeding fibre material into the interior of the machine in the direction of a processing section of the machine (10). The processing section (20) is configured for processing the conveyed fibre material in accordance with predefined specifications. The operating section also comprises an output section (13) which is configured to convey the fibre material processed by the processing section (20) out of the machine (10). The operating section comprises a control unit. The machine further comprises an indicator section (1, 1') which has a plurality of lamp elements (3a-3c; 4a). The control unit is arranged for controlling the feed section (12), the processing section (20) and the output section (13) in accordance with predefined operating parameters specified for operating the machine (10). Furthermore, the control unit is set up to control the lamp elements (3a - 3c; 4a) so that they represent at least one of the predefined operating parameters and/or an operating process of the machine (10) itself, and/or of another machine (10) forming a processing chain with the stated machine. An arrangement of two machines (10) of this type is also envisaged, the indicator sections (1, 1') of which are arranged so that the lamp elements (3a - 3c; 4a) emit light in such a way that the indicator sections (1, 1') can be apprehended simultaneously from at least one position relative to the machines (10).
