[origin: WO2017080776A1] The present invention concerns a movement (heave) compensation system for a load attached to a movable facility (1), the system comprising two pulley blocks (3, 4), and hybrid damping means. According to the invention, the damping means comprise an oleo-pneumatic damping system (6) and an electric drive system (9, 10). The invention further concerns the use of such a compensation system for heave compensation for supporting drilling tools.
