[origin: WO2017081439A1] An improved scraper is provided for scraping the internal surfaces of a combustion chamber. The scraper comprising V shaped scraper elements (6) of which the apex, or crease, of the V shaped scraper elements faces the internal wall of the combustion chamber. The V-shaped elements have an internal angle of 140 degrees which provides excellent scraping whilst preventing the overheating of the combustion chamber due to local heat retention.
