A blowing device according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a motor that includes a shaft disposed along a central axis extending in an up-down direction, an impeller fixed to the shaft, the impeller being disposed above the motor, an impeller cover that surrounds an upper side and an outer side in a radial direction of the impeller, the impeller cover including an intake port at a middle, a motor cover disposed on an outer side in a radial direction of the motor, the motor including a rotor portion fixed to the shaft, the rotor portion including a magnet, a stator portion that opposes the magnet, and a bearing that rotatably supports the shaft with respect to the stator portion, the motor cover including a tubular motor cover cylindrical portion that is open downwards, an inner surface of the motor cover cylindrical portion opposing the motor with a gap in between in the radial direction, and the motor cover cylindrical portion including a communication portion that communicates an inner space of the motor cover cylindrical portion and an outer space of the motor cover cylindrical portion to each other.
