[origin: WO2013092172A1] The invention relates to a method for improving the pivotal movement of a mobile body (1) for a scientific instrument, comprising a shaft (10) capable of pivoting or oscillating about an axis (D) of the mobile body, wherein said method comprises: statically balancing said mobile body so as to bring the center of gravity thereof onto said axis (D); determining a target value for the resulting imbalance moment of said mobile body about said axis (D), which corresponds to a predetermined target divergence between a first main longitudinal axis of inertia of said mobile body and said axis (D); rotating said mobile body about said axis (D) of the mobile body at a predetermined speed, and measuring the resulting imbalance moment relative to said axis (D); and adjusting the value of the imbalance moment of said mobile body about said axis (D) to within a given predetermined tolerance relative to said target value.

Mobile (1) pour instrument scientifique ou garde-temps, comportant un flasque (2) saillant radialement par rapport à un arbre (10) d'axe (D), son premier axe principal d'inertie longitudinal voisin dudit axe (D), les autres axes principaux d'inertie définissant ensemble un plan médian (P), ce flasque (2) comportant, ou un mal-plat prédéterminé avec un balourd résultant dans une direction angulaire particulière décalée par rapport audit plan médian (P), ou des masses mobiles chacune angulairement dans un plan perpendiculaire à une radiale (R) issue dudit axe (D), ou des logements recevant chacun une masse mobile réglable en position uniquement dans un plan perpendiculaire à une dite radiale (R), ou des logements recevant chacun une masse mobile réglable en position uniquement parallèlement audit axe (D) et chaque logement ou masse comportant des moyens d'arrêt pour maintenir la masse dans plusieurs positions discrètes où son centre de gravité est distant dudit plan médian (P).
