[origin: WO2017085282A2] The invention relates to a supply unit for a cleaning machine (R1, R2) that can be connected by means of at least one flexible hose, the supply unit comprising: a heating device (19) for heating water; a water pump (20) for delivering water to or from the heating device (19); a hot water and/or steam connection (16) connected to the outlet of the heating device (19); a dirty water tank (7); a suction device (22) (preferably comprising a suction turbine) for suctioning dirty water from a dirty water connection (18) into the dirty water tank (7); and at least one, preferably exactly one, central drive unit (M, 23, 24, 25; 37, 19') for operating at least one, preferably a number of, or all components of the supply unit (1) that are to be driven and/or of a cleaning machine that can be connected to the drive unit (R1).
