Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2017083990A1] The invention relates to a sealing profile (1) for arranging between a holding profile element (2) and a facade element (3) of a building facade in such a way that the facade element (3) is pressed against a supporting construction (4) of the building facade by the holding profile element (2) via the sealing profile (1) with elastic deformation of the sealing profile (1). The sealing profile comprises a first profile outer side (5) for sealingly adjoining a planar surface (6) of the facade element (3), and at least one profile surface (7), which, as viewed in the cross section of the sealing profile (1), is opposite to the first profile outer side (5), for adjoining at least one pressing surface (8) of the holding profile element (2). Furthermore, the sealing profile (1) comprises indication means (9) for allowing a visual inspection as to whether the sealing profile (1) is pressed against the facade element (3) by the holding profile element (2) with a force which is equal to or greater than a certain minimum pressing force. The sealing profiles (1) according to the invention make it possible for the first time to determine in a simple and reliable manner by a visual inspection whether a required minimum pressing force has been achieved or not.
