[origin: WO2017089689A1] The invention relates to a method of processing a sequence of digital images with a view to its transmission to at least one client via a telecommunication network, said sequence being chopped into a plurality of groups of images. According to the invention, the images of a group are partitioned into spatial zones and the method comprises the following steps, implemented for a group of images, termed a current group -a) formation (E1) of a main group comprising the original images of the current group, partitioned into at least two predetermined spatial zones, collocated in the images of the current group and comprising at least one so-called watermarking zone -b) obtaining (E3) of a main binary train representative of a zone-wise coding of the main group formed, in which for a zone other than said at least one watermarking zone, the pixels of this main zone are not predicted by reference to pixels of the watermarking zone of an image of the group; -c) for a so-called watermarking zone: * formation (E4) of a secondary group of images of the same temporal dimension as the main group and of spatial dimensions equal to those of the watermarking zone; * insertion (E5) of a first value of an item of watermarking information into the secondary group formed; * obtaining (E6) of a first secondary binary train representative of the encoded secondary group including the first value of an item of watermarking information; -d) sending (E7) of the main binary train, and of the at least one first secondary binary train in the telecommunication network destined for at least one client.
