Stiftspitzer (1) mit einem Spitzerkorpus (2), mit mindestens einem im Spitzerkorpus (2) angeordneten Führungskonus (7) zur Führung der Stiftspitze (5) während des Anspitzens und mit einem tangential zum Führungskonus (7) am Spitzerkorpus (2) fixierten Schneidmesser (3) zum Abspanen der Stiftspitze (5) derart, dass die Stiftspitze (5) am vorderen Ende einen spitz zulaufenden Minenabschnitt (24) ohne Mantelmaterial und einen sich in Mittellängsrichtung (20) des Stiftes (4) daran anschließenden Mantelabschnitt (26) mit einem die Mine (25) des Stiftes (4) einbettenden Minenmantel (23) aus Mantelmaterial aufweist mit einem im Bereich der Hauptschneide (12) des Schneidmessers (3) angeordneten, an die Stiftspitze (5) im Bereich der Trennlinie (27) im Übergangsbereich zwischen Minenabschnitt (24) und Mantelabschnitt (26) angreifenden, nicht spanabhebend auf die Stiftspitze (5) einwirkenden Leitelement (16) derart, dass die Späne des Minenmaterials im Minenabschnitt (24) und die Späne des Mantelmaterials im Mantelabschnitt (26) voneinander getrennt abfließen.
