[origin: EP3382294A1] An air conditioning system (1A, 1B) includes: an outdoor unit (10); indoor units (20), an auxiliary power supply device (27) for supplying power from a second power source circuit (271) to the indoor units (20) when the first power source circuit (241) for supplying power to the indoor units (20) has assumed an off state, and a remote controller (25) for operating the actions of the indoor units (20). The air conditioning system (1A, 1B) does not display a display screen on the remote controller (25) when power is not supplied by the first power source circuit (241). With the present invention, it is possible to prevent circumstances where the display screen such as a liquid crystal display of the remote controller is in display mode despite the power source having been turned off, and the user gets confused by not knowing whether the power source was operated normally; or circumstances where another user who did not turn off the power supply mistakenly assumes that the indoor units can be operated because the display screen of the remote controller is in display mode.
