[origin: WO2017093793A1] A skin inspection tool is described. The skin inspection tool utilizes a captured skin area image to identify and classify skin lesions, and displays the image with identified skin lesions on a user interface device, such as a tablet, mobile device, or computer and computer screen. The skin area image display is modifiable by user input. An improved skin lesion inspection method is also described. The systematic inspection method is described for optimizing assessment of inflammatory and non-inflammatory skin lesions. This general method takes into account a skin inspection tool and user input to optimize assessment of skin lesions.
