[origin: WO2017092873A1] The invention relates to a method for producing synthesis gas (5), wherein a hydrocarbon-containing coke-oven gas (2) and a carbon-dioxide-containing converter gas (4) are introduced into a first reaction zone (Z1) and hydrogen, contained in the hydrocarbon-containing coke-oven gas (2), is at least partially reacted with carbon dioxide in order to form water and the water is thermally reacted with the hydrocarbon in order to produce synthesis gas, which contains carbon monoxide and hydrogen. In a second reaction zone (Z2), an oxygen-containing gas (3) is introduced and thermal energy is produced by means of said oxygen-containing gas and part of the hydrogen from the first reaction zone (Z1), wherein the thermal energy produced in the second reaction zone (Z2) is supplied to the first reaction zone (Z1).
