[origin: WO2017092930A1] A device for producing a fibrous web, in particular a cardboard or packaging paper web, comprises a wire section for dewatering a fibrous stock suspension and for forming a fibrous web from the fibrous stock suspension, a press section for further dewatering of the fibrous web and a drying section for drying the fibrous web. The wire section comprises a multiple-layer former having a plurality of headboxes, the headbox nozzle of which is provided in each case with at least one slat. In addition, the device comprises starch introduction means, via which starch can be introduced into the fibrous stock suspension or the stock jet which is produced by a respective headbox or can be applied to the fibrous web upstream of a respective headbox, in a respective headbox and/or at the latest in the multiple-layer former downstream of a respective headbox. The press section comprises a press unit, in particular a shoe press unit, having at least one press nip which is extended in the web running direction. The drying section comprises a single-row pre-drying section with at least three separate high-power dryers which are arranged within the first two drying groups of the single-row pre-drying section and are arranged in each case on a stabilizing roller of the single-row pre-drying section.
