[origin: WO2017092932A1] A device for producing a fibrous web, in particular a web of packaging paper, comprises a headbox, a screen section for dewatering a fibrous suspension introduced via the headbox and forming a fibrous web from the fibrous suspension, a press section for further dewatering the fibrous web, and a drying section for drying the fibrous web. The headbox has a three-layer design and includes a separation blade that protrudes from the headbox nozzle. Furthermore, starch introducing means are provided via which starch can be introduced into at least one layer. The screen section comprises a single-layer gap former. The press section includes at least one press nip, in particular at least one shoe press nip, which is extended in the direction of travel of the web.
