[origin: WO2017093615A1] The invention relates to a gas burner with multiple rings of flames, able to be mounted on a hotplate on the top of a cooker, the said burner comprising a central burner (1) and at least one annular burner (3) surrounding the central burner, and a burner body (6) able to be fixed to the said top hotplate (P). The burner body (6) comprises at least a first gas inlet (8) communicating with a first gas injector (9) situated facing a first, convergent-divergent pipe (10) forming a Venturi, the said first pipe (10) having an axis substantially parallel to the said hotplate plane (P1) and being able to supply the said annular burner (3) with an air/gas mixture, and a second pipe (5) forming a Venturi, of axis parallel to the axis of the first pipe (10) situated above the said first pipe (10), the second pipe being able to supply the said central burner (1) with an air/gas mixture.
