[origin: WO2017093266A2] The present invention relates to a method for monitoring of coagulation status and haemostasis in the perioperative setting. The invention also relates to an apparatus for applying said method, and to a cartridge applicable in said method, wherein said cartridge is a flow cell. Furthermore, the invention relates to the use of said method, said apparatus and said cartridge for assessing coagulation status or thrombus formation in a whole blood sample. In addition, the invention relates to a kit of parts comprising disposables required for applying said method of the invention with the apparatus of the invention.
