[origin: EP3389106A1] The present invention provides an organic EL device having at least an anode, a hole transport layer, a luminous layer, an electron transport layer, and a cathode in this order, wherein the hole transport layer contains an arylamine compound represented by the following general formula (1), and the luminous layer contains a dihydroindenoindole derivative represented by the following general formula (2) or a carbazole derivative represented by the following general formula (3). The organic EL device of the present invention has a high efficiency, is driven at a low driving voltage, and has a particularly long lifetime.
