Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2017105312A1] The invention relates to a filter cassette, during use intended to be oriented in a position for use. The filter cassette has at least two filter cells that contain a filter substance in their interiors. Positioned for use, the filter cassette has a larger height than width, and the filter cells have a larger width than height. The filter cells are delimited upwards and downwards by separating bars (1) that extend horizontally. The height of the heap of filter substance is therefore kept as low as possible, making the risk that the filter substance is being compressed low. An optimal degree of torsional rigidity is achieved as the filter cassette has a larger height than width. The filter cassette does in this fashion achieve an optimal resistance to external mechanical influences. Had the cassette been more yielding it would, when loaded, have changed shape to a larger extent and this would have given that the filter substance could sink together, but this effect is now minimized.
