The invention is an elevator system (10) having destination call control, and having a display system (18) comprising at least one device (20) for displaying image information in the form of a projection (38) in the region of the elevator system (10), and a method for operating the same. A respective projection (38) of the at least one device (20) can be influenced by means of a selection of a destination floor made as part of the destination call control, and is influenced/predefined during an execution of the method.
