[origin: WO2017102819A1] The invention relates to an insulating composite having a permeable edge composite, constructed of a plurality of sheet-type layers laid in succession without gaps comprising a) at least one insulating layer (1) comprising a plurality of vacuum insulation panels separated from each other on all sides by bridges (2) which constitute the edge of the insulating layer (1), wherein each bridge consists of a capillary-inactive, permeable, hydrophobic thermal insulation material having a thermal conductivity of at most 0.025 W/(m*K), b) two cover layers (3), which consist of a capillary-inactive, diffusion-inhibiting or diffusion-tight material, and c) a plurality of anchors (4), which are attached to the cover layers and frictionally connect the two cover layers to each other and penetrate the insulating layer (1) in the region of the bridges.
