Abstract (en)
[origin: GB2543501A] A vacuum insulated storage vessel 1 for storing cryogenically cooled pressurised fluids, especially liquefied natural gas, encapsulates first and second fluid storage volumes 8,9. Each of the first and second fluid storage volumes comprises an inlet 19 for filling and one or more outlets for dispensing. The vessel further comprises a first heat exchanger 20 within the first fluid storage volume for cooling fluid held in the first fluid storage volume, the first heat exchanger being in fluid communication with an outlet of the second fluid storage volume.
