The bus-bar encapsulation module (1, 2, 15, 15', 15'', 16, 16', 16'') serves to connect a plurality of switch panels of a switchgear. The bus-bar encapsulation module (1, 2, 15, 15', 15'', 16, 16', 16'') extends substantially in a transverse direction, wherein the bus-bar encapsulation module (1, 2, 15, 15', 15'', 16, 16', 16'') is supported by a trunk encapsulation module (4, 4a, 9, 9a) extending substantially along a vertical axis. A branch is arranged on the lateral surface of the trunk encapsulation module (4, 4a, 9, 9a), which branch is oriented substantially perpendicular to both the vertical axis of the trunk encapsulation module (4, 4a, 9, 9a) and the transverse direction and on which branch the bus-bar encapsulation module (1, 2, 15, 15', 15'', 16, 16', 16'') is supported.
