[origin: WO2017108470A1] A pumping assembly to feed fuel, preferably diesel fuel, to an internal combustion engine is provided with an electric gear pump (7) having a pump body (24), a closing lid (27) to close the pump body (24), a stator (29), an annular rotor (33) mounted on the inside of the stator (29) and coupled to the pump body (24) in a rotary manner through the interposition of a support bearing (42), a first sealing device (49) to couple together the support bearing (42) and the lid (27) in a fluid- tight manner, and a second sealing device (48) to couple together the support bearing (42) and the pump body (24) in a fluid-tight manner.
