[origin: WO2017109352A1] The present invention relates to a method for connecting to a remote server, comprising a preliminary step during which, at the time of access of a user to said remote server by means of a connection device, said user records in said connection device, in association with an identifier of said remote server, the result of the application of a certain function to authentication data whereby the user is authenticated by said remote server. Said method further comprises the following steps, at the time of a later access of the user to the remote server by means of the connection device: a) entering by the user of authentication data intended for authentication of the user by the remote server, said authentication data comprising at least one password; b) comparing, by the connection device, the result of said function applied to said authentication data entered during said step a), and said result recorded during said preliminary step; and c): - in the event of agreement, sending by the connection device, to the remote server, of the identifier and password of the user, and - in the event of disagreement, sending by the connection device, to the user, of a message requesting the user to verify that the authentication data that have been entered during step a) are indeed those that the user wanted to send to the remote server, and offering the user an interface to enable the user to respond.
