Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2017114868A1] The present invention relates to a method and a device for actuating a solenoid valve which can be electromagnetically operated by means of a coil and which is adjustable in two-stage fashion. Here, the coil of the solenoid valve is energized in accordance with a setpoint variable. The setpoint variable is lowered from a predefined first current setpoint value to a predefined second current setpoint value such that an emission of audible sound that occurs upon switching of the solenoid valve is at least partially reduced. The essence of the invention consists in that, after the lowering to the second setpoint current value, the setpoint variable is increased to a predefined third current setpoint value.
