Abstract (en)

The present invention concerns a device (1) for the powder coating of an object (100), and a related operative method for carrying out a color change. The apparatus (1) comprises: - at least a first and a second container (10, 20) for painting powder; - means (5) for the movement of said first and second container (10, 20) between an operative position (P1, P1', P1") and a cleaning position (P2, P2', P2"), configured so that, when said first container (10) is in the operative position (P1, P1'), said second container (20) is in said cleaning position (P2, P2"), and so that when said first container (10) is in the cleaning position (P2, P2'), said second container (20) is in the operative position (P1, P1"); - means (4) for cleaning a container (10, 20), which are configured to empty and clean said first or said second container (10, 20), when said first or second container (10, 20) is in the cleaning position (P2, P2', P2"); - means (3) for withdrawing painting powder from said first or second container (10, 20), when said first or second container (10, 20) is in the operative position (P1, P1', P1"), and for feeding it to a device (3c) for delivering painting powder onto an object (100) to be painted.
