The pressure roller is pressed in its working position onto the draw-off roller via a pretensioned spring element. The invention also relates to the draw-off device for the working point of the textile machine which is equipped with the draw-off roller, the pressure roller pressed onto the draw-off roller and the operation device. By means of the operation device, the pressure roller is transferred from the working position to the yarn joining position and transferred back. The pressure roller is pressed in the working position onto thedraw-off roller which is lifted from the draw-off roller in the yarn joining position. The draw-off device has a preloadable spring element for pressing the pressure roller onto the draw-off roller.
