[origin: WO2017125696A1] The invention relates to a luggage item (1) intended to contain removable objects (7, 8), the luggage item (1) comprising a casing (5) delimiting an internal space of the luggage item (1) able to contain the removable objects (7, 8), the casing (5) exhibiting an opening (6) forming a passage between the internal space of the luggage item (1) and an exterior environment of the luggage item (1), the luggage item furthermore comprising a radio-tag reader (2), the radio-tag reader (2) comprising: - an identification module (12) configured to emit by radiofrequency an identification request destined for a radio-tag (4) and to receive identification data from the radio-tag (4) in response to the identification request, - a communication module (13) configured to associate the radio-tag reader (2) with a remote device (3) by means of a wireless connection (17), the radio-tag reader (2) being configured to transmit the identification data received in response to the identification request to the remote device (3), - a power supply (14) able to energise components of the radio-tag reader.
