[origin: WO2017125410A1] The invention relates to a method for producing a particle foam part wherein foam particles are heated in a mould (3) such that they weld together to form the particle foam part. Heat is guided by means of electromagnetic RF radiation to the foam particles. The foam particles are made from polyurethane (PU), polylactate (PLA), polyethylene block amide (PEBA) or from polyethylene terephtalate (PET).
