[origin: WO2017125452A1] In order to provide a method for transferring heat that is simple to implement and that enables efficient transfer of heat, it is proposed that the method comprises the following: conveying a storage medium by means of a screw device; conducting heat transfer medium through the screw device and/or conducting heat transfer medium past the screw device, wherein heat is transferred from the heat transfer medium to the storage medium and/or from the storage medium to the heat transfer medium.
