[origin: WO2018138605A1] The present invention relates to a knitted fabric and to a method and a device for producing such a knitted fabric, in which a roving is fed to a drawing frame having at least two pairs of drawing rollers and a spinning nozzle device, and is drawn by the at least two pairs of drawing rollers, wherein at least one pair of input rollers and one pair of output rollers of the drawing frame are driven in a controlled manner in accordance with the pattern of the knitted fabric to be formed on the knitting machine in such a way that the yarn thickness of the drawn roving is varied by changing the relative speed between the pair of input rollers and the pair of output rollers, the drawn roving is fed to the spinning nozzle device and is solidified by said spinning nozzle device by the action of compressed air and the drawn, solidified roving is subsequently fed to the knitting machine. According to the invention, in the method and device, the yarn delivery speed of the drawn, solidified roving to the knitting machine is set, depending on the mesh size to be knitted by the knitting machine, by controlling the rotational speed of at least one driven roller of the pair of output rollers of the drawing frame.
