Abstract (en)

[origin: EP3409561A1] A switch machine for a railroad switch (1) comprises a movement group (20) engaged to at least a switch point (101,102). The movement group (20), in use, translates along a movement direction (120) in order to displace the, or each, switch point (101,102) between two limit positions. An actuation group (70) is also provided for actuating the translation of the movement group (20) along the movement direction (120), as well as a locking/unlocking group (50) mobile between a locking configuration, in which prevents the above disclosed movement group (20) from translating, and an unlocking configuration, in which it allows the above disclosed movement group to translate. The switch machine (1), furthermore, provides a control group (220) configured to reduce pressure of working fluid up to a predetermined threshold value p* once a predetermined distance from the above limit positions is reached
