Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2017133826A1] The invention relates to a laundry-care appliance (100) comprising a detergent solution container (105) for receiving detergent solution, a washing drum (107) for receiving laundry (109) arranged in the detergent solution container (105), and a deodorisation device (111) for deodorising the laundry (109) fluidically connected to the detergent solution container (105), wherein the deodorisation device (111) has an ozone generation element (113) for generating ozone and a mist generation device (115) for generating water mist, and wherein the mist generation device (115) has a fluid container (141) for receiving fluid. The deodorisation device (111) has a foam detection device (151) for detecting foam in the fluid container (141), wherein the foam detection device (151) comprises an electrical measuring element (153) that is in contact with the fluid in the fluid container (141), wherein the electrical measuring element (153) is designed to detect an electrical measurement value of the fluid in the fluid container (141), and wherein the foam detection device (151) is designed to compare the detected electrical measurement value with an electrical reference measurement value and, via the comparison between the electrical measurement value and the electrical reference measurement value, to determine whether foam is present in the fluid container (141).
