Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2017135825A1] The present invention relates to a device, method and system for external chassis damage detection, the sensor device comprising at least one sensor (4), arranged for sensing behavior patterns in a chassis part (6) of a vehicle, CPU module connected to an output of the sensor (4) for analyzing the behavior patterns sensed by the sensor (4), and communication module connected to the CPU module for communicating analyzed vibration pattern to a remote receiver. The system typically comprising a vehicle;one or more sensor devices(1); a central unit (20) communicating with the one or more detection devices;the central unit (20) comprising a storage module for storing output from the sensor device (1), and/or a communication module for communicating the output from the detection device (1).
