[origin: WO2017137197A1] The present invention relates to a hose clamp with a clamp band (1), in which a plurality of thread teeth (2) are formed which follow one another at a respective spacing and with which a clamping screw (3) of a clamping device of the hose clamp can be brought into engagement, in order to tension the clamp band (1). The clamping screw (3) has a screw thread (4) with a pitch (p). In order to ensure a reliable engagement of the screw thread with the thread teeth even in the case of small diameters, the spacing of the thread teeth (2) corresponds to an adapted pitch (p') which is adapted to the pitch (p) of the screw thread (4) in the curved state of the clamp band (1).
