[origin: EP3421896A1] An indoor unit (1) including an arithmetic unit (2) that executes air conditioning control is provided. The arithmetic unit (2) includes: an actuator control unit (12) that controls an operation of an actuator on the basis of a content of an operation signal; a communication unit (13) that communicates with optional device (5); an optional device connection determination unit (14) that determines whether or not the optional device (5) is connected to the indoor unit (1); and a standby power control unit (15) that switches processing for reduction of standby power of the arithmetic unit (2) in standby on the basis of a result of the determination on whether or not the optional device (5) is connected, and executes the processing. The standby power control unit (15) performs control to stop the operation of the arithmetic unit (2) after stopping the operation of the actuator when the optional device (5) is not connected, and performs control to set a processing speed of the arithmetic unit (2) during the standby to be lower than a processing speed during operation after stopping the operation of the actuator when the optional device (5) is connected.
