Abstract (en)
A dome (2configured for receiving and retaining a hearing aid receiver (54) is disclosed. The dome (2) is adapted for insertion into an ear canal of the user and comprises an outer surface configured to face the inner wall of the ear canal; a distal portion (6) comprising a tip (44) oriented towards the tympanic membrane when inserted into the ear canal, the tip (44) comprising an opening; a proximal portion (8) comprising an end structure (46) oriented towards the outer ear, the end structure (46) comprising an opening (14) and a receiving portion (4) for selectively receiving and retaining the receiver (54). At least a part of the proximal portion (8) is provided with a reinforcement structure (12).
