[origin: WO2017148934A1] A heat pump comprises a condenser (114) with a condenser housing; a compressor motor which is mounted on the condenser housing (114) and which has a rotor and a stator (308), wherein the rotor has a motor shaft (306) on which a compressor wheel (304) for compressing working medium vapour is mounted, and wherein the compressor motor has a motor wall (309); a motor housing (300) which surrounds the compressor motor and which has a working medium inlet (362, 330) for conducting liquid working medium from the condenser onto the motor wall (309) for the purposes of motor cooling, wherein the motor housing (300) is furthermore designed to form a vapour chamber (323) during the operation of the heat pump, and wherein the motor housing (300) furthermore has a vapour exhaust (324) for discharging vapour out of the vapour chamber (323) in the motor housing.
