[origin: EP3424388A1] The present invention relates to a vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner according to one aspect includes a cleaner main body which includes a suction motor for generating suction force; and a suction hose which communicates with the cleaner main body and sucks dust-containing air. The cleaner main body includes a main body portion; a suction port in which air sucked through the suction hose is introduced and a dust container which includes a storage space for collecting dust, which are provided in the main body portion; and a cover member which includes a connector connected with the suction hose on a side thereof and selectively shields at least a portion of the dust container. When the cover member shields the side of dust container, the connector is aligned with an air introducing direction at the suction port.
