Abstract (en)
A train control device according to an embodiment includes storage, a detector, a deceleration ratio calculator, an adjuster, and a control command calculator. The storage stores deceleration information indicating deceleration of a train when a brake is applied in accordance with a brake command. The detector detects the speed of the train. The deceleration ratio calculator calculates a level of deceleration representing the difference between the deceleration indicated by the deceleration information and actual deceleration of the train, based on an amount of deceleration of the train detected by the detector in a predetermined time during the braking in accordance with the brake command, and a value obtained by integrating the deceleration indicated by the deceleration information corresponding to the brake command with respect to the predetermined time. The adjuster adjusts the deceleration information for use in calculating the brake command, according to the level of deceleration calculated by the deceleration ratio calculator. The control command calculator calculates the brake command for the train to control the train to stop at a target position, based on the deceleration information and the position and speed of the train.
